The SPOIO Foundation (-_-) was founded by Lionel "Luciano Illuminati" White and SPOIO Inc. for the purpose of raising money for the benefit of people with kidney disease, to raise awareness to the need for organ donation, to fight heart disease, for cancer research & survivors and for literacy programs. Our annual fundraising event is called
The SPOIO (-_-) Music Festival for Charity and it is an event that will feature major and indie recording artists in the rock, r&b, pop, country and rap genres. The artists perform for free, but receive gift bags of items provided by www.SPOIO.com and our other sponsors. As much as 75% of the proceeds from the concert will be donated to charities that help pay insurance premiums, distribute information to people about kidney disease, heart disease, organ donation, cancer research & survivors and help foster literacy. NOTE: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) defines literacy as the "ability to identify, understand, interpret, create, communicate, compute and use printed and written materials associated with varying contexts. Literacy involves a continuum of learning in enabling individuals to achieve their goals, to develop their knowledge and potential, and to participate fully in their community and wider society."
We are proud to do this work for the betterment of those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
